The Merit Construction Alliance (MCA) is an association representing a broad based coalition of contractors that promotes free and open competition in the construction industry and advances the value of merit shop construction to end users, the general public and to decision makers.

MCA members believe that quality, budget, schedule and safety should be the primary criteria used to select and engage construction companies. As responsible business people, we advocate the basic economic principles that made this country the power it is today-that free market conditions will provide the most effective and viable commercial environment.

The MCA will work to educate the public, the media, public officials, the business community and construction users through research, public education campaigns, and direct marketing.
