While Governor Baker has identified construction as an essential service during the state of emergency, contractors are taking steps to keep their employees safe. That includes telling sick employees to stay home and training workers on new cleaning protocols.
Now the state has issued a four-page set of "COVID-19 Guidelines and Procedures for All Construction Sties and Workers at All Public Work." It's mandatory on public construction projects and good advice for private work.
